They suspect victims Md Sohag, 16, and Md Nasirul, 18, died due to electrocution at the office at Siddheshwary Circular Road.

Ramna Police Station OC Mashiur Rahman said the employees of HM Technology, located at the fifth floor of the building, used to stay overnight at the office.

Police recovered the bodies on Friday after another employee of the office informed them about the incident.

Sohag hailed from Mirzapur of Naogaon’s Atrai while Nasirul was from Pirganj of Thakurgaon.

OC Rahman said, “Primarily, it seems that they died due to electrocution.”

“One of the bodies was lying in the generator room and the other on the floor of the adjoining room.”

Police suspect the first one was electrocuted when he went to start the generator after power supply was cut off.

The electricity passed through him to the aluminium door where the second victim was electrocuted, according to police’s initial observation.

On Friday noon, another employee of HM Technology ‘Ripon’ went to the office and found the door closed.

He informed police after seeing the bodies after breaking open the door.
