Man found hanging from a ceiling fan at hotel in Dhaka’s Paltan
Police have recovered body of a man, found hanging from a ceiling fan, from a hotel in capital city Dhaka.

Paltan Police Station OC Morshed Alam said the body of the 60-year-old man was recovered from the room No. 511 of the Hotel Capital on Friday afternoon.
According to the hotel’s register, the man Kamal Uddin was from Ramu, Cox’s Bazar.
OC Alam said Uddin had been staying in the hotel since Mar 5.
He mentioned his occupation as business. But the nature of his business was not known.
The hotel staff called police when he did not open the door in the morning.
“Police later found his body hanging from the ceiling fan,” the OC said.
He also said police suspected that Uddin might have committed suicide due to slump in his business.
