JCI Dhaka East gets JCI Movement recognition for Healthy Start project

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Movement has accredited JCI Bangladesh’s Dhaka East unit.

The unit received the recognition recently for its project Healthy Start under the Project Impact 100 in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the JCI Movement during the Area Conference for the Asia and Pacific held in Kota Kina Balu, Malaysia.

Healthy Start is a project designed to contribute to achieve Millennium Development Goals set by United Nations, especially focusing on reducing maternal and infant mortality rates, according to a media release issued by the JCI Bangladesh.

JCI President Ismail Haznedar of Turkey and 2015 JCI Executive Vice President Natalie Viselli of Australia gave the certificate to Local President of JCI Dhaka East SM Erfanul Karim.

National President of JCI Bangladesh M Nazrul Islam was also present.
