Ali, in his message, said Bangladesh and Denmark’s “excellent” bilateral ties were based on “our longstanding friendship and cooperation”.
He said Bangladesh had already opened its embassy in Copenhagen as a sign of its “deep commitment to further expand and strengthen the relations”.
He said a new ambassador would assume responsibility “very soon”.
“I look forward to working closely with you on matters of common interest to achieve the desired goals,” Ali said.
He wished Jensen “every success” in the foreign office, the foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
