Bangladesh Road Transport Association Secretary Enayetullah on Tuesday toldbdnews24.com that different bus services would start the sale after the 15th day of Ramadan, considering the demand of the home-bound passengers.

But most of the companies at Gabtoli Bus Terminal would begin the sale as per their own convenience and plans, he added.

Hanif Paribahan would start selling advance tickets from July 3, its northern region route manager Raju Ahmed told bdnews24.com.

“The prices won’t be much different,” he added. “Gabtoli faces the most pressure for tickets for the northern region ahead of the Eid.”

Advance tickets would not be available for the travel to districts adjacent to Dhaka.

However, advance tickets would be available for Sylhet, Rangpur, Dinajpur and Rajshahi.

Road Transport Association’s Mohakhali Bus Terminal unit President Abul Kalam said that they planned to sell advance tickets from July 24.

“At times rush of the passengers ahead of Eid is doubled than the capacity, so we have decided to go for advance sale from July 24,” he said.
