Suspect Idris Ali denied bail again over blogger Ananta murder
Press photographer Idris Ali, arrested for his suspected involvement in the murder of blogger Ananta Bijoy Das, has been denied bail for second time.

Defence counsel Abdul Gaffar said Sylhet’s Second Metropolitan Magistrate Farhana Yasmin rejected his petition and set July 20 for the next hearing.
On Jun 17, the same court had refused bail for Ali, who was arrested on June 7.
On May 12, four assailants hacked to death secular blogger Das in Sylhet in a manner similar to the killing of writer-blogger Avijit Roy, a little over two months earlier.
Das was an activist of the Ganajagaran Mancha, a forum demanding a ban on Islamist parties and maximum penalty for convicted war criminals.
The 31-year-old used to blog on 'Mukto-mona’, a website propagating rationalism and opposing fundamentalism started by Roy, who was killed in February in Dhaka.
