Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has thanked Sheikh Hasina for her warm welcome through twitter messages.

On reaching Dhaka on Saturday morning Modi was received with flowers in a red carpet welcome at the airport.
Minutes after reaching Dhaka he tweeted, “Thank you PM Sheikh Hasina for the warm welcome. I look forward to a very good visit that will strengthen ties between India & Bangladesh.”
In another tweet he writes, “Hello Bangladesh. I bring with me the affection and goodwill of the people of India.”
Earlier today, while leaving for Bangladesh from New Delhi he tweeted, "Leaving for Bangladesh. This visit is going to strengthen the bond between our Nations, benefitting people of our countries and our region.”
During this two-day ‘historic’ visit to Bangladesh, Modi will hold talks with his Bangladeshi counterpart Sheikh Hasina and ink several agreements, especially in the field of connectivity and trade.
