The dead has been identified as ‘Raihan’.
The injured are ‘Amit’, 17, and Tito Sultan, 18.
Witness ‘Mamun’ told bdnews24.com that he found 3 to 4 persons in a scuffle in front of the Borhan Shah Shrine near the Karbala Graveyard some time after 12am. One of them stabbed another with a knife.
Locals intervened and Raihan died while being taken to the Jessore Sadar Hospital.
Police said they were yet to know what caused the incident, but suspect an old feud behind the murder.
