Miscreants in Dinajpur hacked two businessmen before looting Tk 3.3 million from them.

Traders Hazrat Ali Sardar and ‘Roni’ were admitted to the local hospital after the incident that took place at Parbatipur Upazila’s Haldibari Railgate Road on Saturday morning, police said.
Parbatipur Model Police Station OC Mababul Alam said Sardar and Roni were going to a bank in Syedpur on a motorcycle to deposit the money.
Two motorcycles hit them from behind as a result of which they fell on the road, the OC said.
“The muggers then hacked the two traders with machetes and snatched the bag containing the money.”
The muggers fled, leaving behind the weapons and the motorcycles as local residents rushed to the spot, added OC Alam.
