Man ‘kills’ wife, ‘hangs’ himself in Hazaribagh

Police have said that a resident of Hazaribagh has hanged himself after killing his wife, possibly after a heated argument.

The bodies of small-leather-trader ‘Rasel’, 25, and his wife  ‘Ifat’, 22, were recovered from their second floor residence in 47 Gajmahal Area. 

Quoting locals, Hazaribagh police SI Bhajan Biswas told bdnews24.com, the couple were married a couple of years back. 

“After an argument, Rasel stabbed his wife on the neck, ensured she was dead and hanged himself from the fan.”

The couple did not have any children.
