ICT-2 to pronounce Mahidur-Afsar verdict Wednesday
The International Crimes Tribunal-2 will pronounce its verdict on Mahidur Rahman and Afsar Hossain Chutu on Wednesday.

Both are accused of war crimes during the 1971 Liberation War at Chapainawabganj.
The case was included in the cause list of the trial court of Justice Obaidul Hassan on Tuesday.
On Apr 22, the court had kept in abeyance its verdict for the duo indicted last year on three charges including mass murder at Shibganj.
Badiur Rahman of Monkosha Union filed the case accusing the two and ten others of perpetrating genocide at a court in Chapainawabganj in 2013.
Police arrested Rahman from Shibganj’s Durlabhpur Union and Chutu from Binodhpur in September last year.
