Czech opens new Honorary Consulate in Dhaka
State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam has opened the new Honorary Consulate of the Czech Republic in Bangladesh.

ASM Mohiuddin Monem, deputy managing director of a business group Abdul Monem Ltd, is the Honorary Consul of the Republic.
The Consulate has been opened at its headquarter ‘Momen Business District’ at Bir Uttam CR Datta Road, few yards from the Kawran Bazar Square.
The junior foreign minister during the opening on Tuesday night said this new consulate would help build up relations with this European country.
Czech maintains its bilateral relations with Dhaka from New Delhi.
Non-resident ambassador Miloslav Stašek was present at the opening of the consulate, said the foreign ministry.
