Four gold bars seized from a woman at Dhaka airport
Customs officials at the Dhaka airport have seized four gold bars from a woman.

The gold weighing around 2.5 kg were found concealed inside the shoes of Mahmuda Hossain, 26, who landed Dhaka by a Malaysia Airlines flight from Kuala Lumpur.
The estimated market value of the confiscated gold is around Tk 12.2 million, according Customs intelligence wing’s Director General Mainul Khan.
Meanwhile, eight gold bars weighing around 800 gram were found with one Nurullah Nur, 45, who came by the same flight, which landed Dhaka past midnight on Tuesday, he added.
