Swiss President greets Bangladeshis on National Day eve
Swiss President Simonetta Sommaruga has congratulated people of Bangladesh on the eve of the 45th Independence Day.

The foreign ministry said in a message written to her counterpart Md Abdul Hamid, she also wished “peace and prosperity” for Bangladesh and hoped that bilateral ties would flourish further.
“May the ties of friendship and cooperation which so happily exist between our two countries continue to flourish in the coming years,” she wrote.
Bangladesh will celebrate the National Day on Thursday.
