Businessman killed, supporters torch slum in Chittagong
A businessman has been brutally killed in Chittagong.

To avenge the murder, his supporters have torched a slum owned by a rival businessman in the port city.
Chittagong Fire Service official Bishu Das said two units of the fire fighters controlled the flames at Halishahar residential area around 1:30am on Friday.
There was no casualty, he added.
Some unidentified people hacked and shot Noor Mohammad, 40, dead after calling him out from his home around 10pm on Thursday, police said.
His followers torched the slum of ‘Shafi’, his rival businessman, gutting 11 houses and four shops, Additional Deputy Commissioner Arefin Jewel said.
