Helper dies after truck runs over
A helper of a truck driver was killed when run over by his own truck.

He had jumped off that truck , whose driver he used to help , after miscreants hurled petrol bombs at it around midnight in Chandpur amid the BNP-sponsored indefinite blockade.
The incident occurred in Chandpur-Comilla highway near the Upazila’s Ghosherghat area around 11:30pm on Wednesday.
The truck driver was injured along with a trader named Mohammad Masud.
The helper, Mohammad Motaleb, 45, died on the spot.
“Motaleb and I were sitting next to the driver. At around 11pm four to five people hurled petrol bomb at us and set the truck on fire. Our clothes also caught fire”, Masud said.
Motaleb was run over by the truck's rear tyres as he jumped off.
District Police officials visited the spot.
Chandpur Superintendent of Police said his forces are trying their best to catch the criminals.
The body has been sent to the Sadar Hospital morgue.
