Robber killed during Satkhira shootout, claim police
A man, whom the police claim to be a robber, has died during a 'shootout' in Shatkhira.

The dead has been identified as Rafiqul Islam, who hails from the district's Tala Upazila.
The 'encounter' between police and the robbers broke out around 4am Wednesday at Avaytala Village of the Upazila's Kumira Union.
Patkelghata Police OC Tarikul Islam said that Rafiqul Islam, named in 14 cases of robberies, was nabbed on Tuesday.
"He gave information about hideouts and firearms during the interrogation.
"Police raided Avaytala Village along with Rafiqul, when his associates opened fired," said the police officer.
The robbers fled after a 20-minute gunbattle and Rafiqul was found shot.
He died after being taken to the Satkhira Sadar Hospital, added he OC.
A firearm and two rounds of ammunition were recovered from the spot, say police.
