France seeks Dhaka’s support for upcoming climate change meet in Paris
New French Ambassador in Dhaka Sophie Aubert has sought Bangladesh’s support for the upcoming climate change conference in Paris at the end of this year.

She sought the support on Wednesday while meeting Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali and his deputy Md Shahriar Alam at the foreign ministry.
Paris will host the mega climate gathering COP-21 this year.
Bangladesh being a climate vulnerable country remains vocal globally for policy frameworks on climate change mitigation and adaptation.
The foreign ministers welcomed Aubert in Dhaka and hoped that during her tenure Dhaka-Paris ties would be strengthened further.
She said strengthening economic ties between the countries would be her priority.
