4.5kg gold seized by the airport customs in Dhaka
Customs department has recovered 4.5 kgs gold from a package of automobile parts in Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday noon.

Customs department’s Joint Commissioner Kazi Mohammad Zia Uddin said they recovered 40 gold bars after scanning the radiator of a car from the airport’s international section.
The seized gold weighs about 4.5kg and estimated to be worth Tk 21.5 million, said customs officials.
The radiator was shipped from Dubai for one ‘Noor Electronics’.
Zia Uddin said a case is yet to be filed against the accused.
