Police Sergeant dies in Sitakunda crash
A police sergeant has died after a van carrying him rammed into a covered van at Chittagong’s Sitakunda.

The crash happened on Dhaka-Chittagong Highway, near Fouzdarhat Police Outpost, around 3am Monday.
Sergeant Kabir Hossain, 42, who died, was in-charge of that outpost, said Sergeant Ashikur Rahman of Highway Police Baraulia Outpost.
The policeman was on patrol when he died, he told bdnews24.com.
“The crash left Sergeant Kabir severely injured, as he was seated next to the driver. He died while being taken to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital.”
