New Envoy to South Korea
The government has decided to appoint Md Zulfiqur Rahman as the new ambassador to South Korea, the foreign ministry says.

A career diplomat, Rahman is currently serving as ambassador to Turkey.
A doctor by training, he belongs to the 9th batch of BCS Foreign Affairs Cadre.
He also served in various capacities in different Bangladesh mission including New Delhi, Manama, Permanent Mission to the UN in New York, and Consulate General in Los Angeles.
