Quoting locals, Kashem said a gang of 15-20 robbers swooped on the house of Anisul Islam at Chakshal village around 2:45am.

The robbers broke open the house and looted cash, gold ornaments and other valuables.

The OC said the gang later barged into two more houses at Chakshal and Badhusaj villages.
