Her lawyer Yunus Ali Akhanda submitted the plea on Sunday.

The plea also sought a directive ordering Rubel to surrender in court and a rule asking why the bail should not be scrapped.

Happy filed the case at Mirpur Police Station on Dec 13 last year alleging that the cricketer had backed off from promised marriage after nine months of intimate relationship.

But Rubel claimed that she was ‘blackmailing’ him.

The High Court on Dec 15 granted the pacer a four-week anticipatory bail.

He appeared before the Metropolitan Magistrate's Court on Jan 8 and sought an extension but the court ordered him into prison instead.

However, Rubel was released from prison three days later after Metropolitan Sessions Judges Court granted his bail plea.

A Dhaka court on Jan 14 also allowed him to travel abroad to play in the World Cup and exempted the cricketer from physical appearance in case hearings.

The Bangladesh national cricket team will fly off at the end of January to Australia for the World Cup that begins on Feb 14.
