Hundreds of Bangladeshis, who returned from India, have been stranded at Benapole during the 20-Party Alliance's countrywide shutdown.

Long-haul buses have kept off the road fearing violence.
Those who returned from India have no other choice but to stay in hotels and bus terminals and wait for transport.
The BNP and its allies called Monday's strike in protest against the denial of permission for their Gazipur rally and for the release of their leaders.
Minoti Rani Das and businessman Shambhunath Saha, who live in Dhaka's Shankharibazar, returned to Bangladesh in the morning.
"I'll have to wait until bus services resume," Das told bdnews24.com.
Those living nearby left on a commuter train.
Immigration officials say the number of people returning from India was like any other day.
But fewer people went to India during the strike, he said.
