Power went off at the Shah Amanat International Airport around 6.20am. No outgoing flights were scheduled at that time but the landing of two incoming flights was delayed.

Civil Aviation Authority Manager Noor-e-Alam said that airport operations resumed after power was restored around 8.20am.

"There was a glitch at the airport's power distribution panel, which took an hour and half to fix", he told bdnews24.com.
