Youth murdered in Malibagh

Miscreants have stabbed a youth to death in Dhaka’s Malibagh.

The victim, identified as Imran Hossain Chanchal, 23, was a student, locals said.

Dhaka Medical College and Hospital Police Inspector Mozammel Haque said some young men brought Chanchal to the hospital around 8pm Wednesday night. He died two hours later while on treatment.

‘Al-Amin’, one of his rescuers, said they rushed him to hospital in badly injured condition.

He said they did not see who attacked Chanchal.

Police said Chanchal was a resident at Khilgaon. The body is at the hospital for autopsy.
