Man with gold bars held in Ctg airport
A man who arrived at Chittagong airport from Dubai has been nabbed with 14 gold bars and 77 chains.

Md Rashid was detained around 8am on Tuesday while he was passing the green channel at Shah Amanat Airport, said Customs Intelligence Assistant Director Sushanta Pal.
Officials searched him and found the gold in his pocket and luggage.
The 14 bars weigh 1.63kg and the 77 chains weighed 240 grams, said the customs official.
“Some of the chains were found in his pockets. The rest of the chains and the bars were in a box for eyeglasses we found in his luggage.
Rashid, a resident of Rangunia, will be faced with legal charges.
