President Md Abdul Hamid to visit India
President Md Abdul Hamid will visit India at the invitation of the Indian President Pranab Mukherjee.

The president will visit New Delhi on Dec 18 on a four-day tour, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali told a press conference on Saturday.
This will be his first trip to India after assuming office two years ago.
The Indian president sent a letter to Hamid last May with an official invitation to visit New Delhi.
The visit is in response to that invitation, said the foreign minister.
Mahmood Ali was asked about the prospects of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visiting Bangladesh. In the conference, to which he said: “The chief minister of West Bengal may also come to Bangladesh."
