Detectives arrest 31 conmen from capital Dhaka
Police have arrested 31 people believed to be part of a con ring from Bangladesh capital Dhaka involved in doping and robbing passengers in public transports.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police's Detective Branch (DB) Deputy Commissioner Masudur Rahman said that they were arrested in an overnight raid on Thursday from different parts of the city.
These conmen are commonly known as 'Agyan Party', meaning gangs that drug their targets.
Sometimes they trick passengers into taking drugged food or drink or make them sniff handkerchiefs dabbed in anaesthetic substances and make off with the victims' valuables.
Anaesthetic drugs and other materials have been recovered from the arrestees, said the DB official, adding that details would be provided at media briefing later on Thursday.
