RAB claims to seize vehicle used by killers of RU teacher
RAB says it has traced the auto-rickshaw used by the killers of Rajshahi University teacher AKM Shafiul Islam.

RAB's Rajshahi wing Deputy Commander Maj Shafiqul Islam said the vehicle was found abandoned near the city's railway station.
Sociology teacher Prof Islam was hacked to death on Nov 15 near the campus. Police had said after arresting 11 over the killing that 'Jamaat-e-Islami-controlled' militants were involved.
In a media briefing at Dhaka on Sunday, RAB produced six persons including two pro-BNP activists and said the murder was not the handiwork of any militants but it was done to avenge personal insults.
Those byRAB arrested are former RU unit Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal Vice-
President Abdus Samad Pintu, Katakhali municipality Jatiyatabadi Juba Dal leader Ariful Islam Manik, Ibrahim Khalil alias Tokai Babu, Al Mamun, Sirajul Islam alias Kalu, and Md Sabuj Sheikh.
The auto-rickshaw belongs to Tokai Babu, said RAB official Islam. "Sabuj (Sheikh) went to the crime scene with arms in this auto-rickshaw. It was parked nearby during the murder. The assailants fled in this vehicle."
Meanwhile, the Rajshahi police, investigating the case, have brushed away RAB's claim that the killing was the result of personal feud.
A day after RAB's claims, they told a press briefing that their investigations did not reveal any personal reasons behind the murder.
