Investment on way to Bangladesh from Silicon Valley
Bangladesh’s IT sector is set to woo investment from Silicon Valley.

This has been disclosed by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's son Sajeeb Ahmed Wazed Joy, who lives in the US, on his Facebook page on Monday night.
“Some excellent news for Digital Bangladesh. For the first time a Silicon Valley venture fund is coming to invest in our IT industry,” he wrote.
Silicon Valley is home to many of the world’s top technology corporations and tech startup companies.
“It was my dream to turn Bangladesh into (an) IT hub. This is the beginning of that reality. A very proud day for our IT industry,” Joy said in the post.
Hasina after coming into power in 2009 unveiled her government’s 'Digital Bangladesh' vision.
IT professional Joy, who also advises the prime minister on IT affairs, has been actively involved in making the government’s vision a reality.
