It was recovered Thursday night along with 19 machetes after a clash at the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) left one dead.

Jalalabad police filed the case on Friday night naming BCL's Sylhet metropolitan unit leaders Shiplu and Khokon.

Meanwhile, 27 people have been detained over SUST clashes until Saturday morning.

Police say they include BCL activists, students of SUST, Sylhet International University and Madanmohan College.

SUST has been shut indefinitely after the clashes. The university authorities have formed a three-strong committee to look into the incident.
