Robbers stab house owner in Shyampur
Robbers have looted jewellery and cash from a house after stabbing its owner in the capital’s Shyampur.

The victim, identified as Harun Ar Rashid, has been admitted to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
The hospital Police Inspector Mozammel Haque said quoting Harun that the robbery took place at a house in Shyampur’s Faridabad area in the early hours of Thursday.
“Several miscreants broke into the house and stabbed Harun before escaping with cash and gold jewellery.”
However, the police officer could not indicate the value of the loot.
“The Shyampur Police Station has been informed of the incident. They will look into the matter,” Mozammel said.
