Man gets death for killing wife over dowry
A man has been sentenced to death for killing his wife over dowry four years ago in Narayanganj.

District and Sessions Judge Mosammat Lutfa Begum of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Special Tribunal at Narayanganj, gave the order on Monday.
Badiuzzaman Badsha strangled his wife Jannatul Islam Jenny to death after torturing her at Noluaparha on Jan 25, 2010.
Badsha has been absconding ever since the murder case was filed, said the tribunal’s Public Prosecutor Rakibul Hasan.
The victim’s father Jainal Abedin, who had filed the case at the Narayanganj Model Police Station, said he was satisfied with the verdict.
“We want Badsha to be arrested and the verdict implemented as soon as possible.”
