Dhaka-Aricha highway traffic disrupted
Traffic on the Dhaka-Aricha highway was disrupted for nearly two hours on Tuesday after a bus and lorry crashed into each other at Dhamrai.

At least 15 bus passengers were injured after the collision at the Bathuli Bridge around 7am.
“They have received minor injuries and were let off after primary medical attention at a local clinic,” said Dhamrai Police OC Firoz Talukder.
The ‘AK Travels’ bus, headed from Dhaka to Manikganj, crashed into a lorry coming from the opposite direction. The front of the bus has been damaged, he said.
“The lorry’s rear wheels were badly damaged and it blocked the road off. Finally the lorry was moved away after two hours and traffic resumed around 9am.”
Rows of vehicles were stuck on both sides of the crash site until it was cleared.
