Customs seize 82 gold bars from passenger at Chittagong airport
A passenger from Dubai has been held with 82 gold bars at the Chittagong airport.

Authorities confiscated the gold weighing over nine kilograms from Mohammad Hossain, 29, around 11am on Thursday, Customs Assistant Director Sushanta Paul told bdnews24.com.
Hossain landed at Chittagong by a Fly Dubai flight around 10am, he said. "He was searched as his movements seemed suspicious. The gold bars were found wrapped with duct tapes around his waist."
Their estimated market value was around Tk 40 million, added the customs official.
