President leaves for Dubai to attend WIEF conference
President Md Abdul Hamid has left Dhaka on Monday to attend the 10th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) at Dubai.

The flight carrying him took off around 10 am from the Shahjalal International Airport, said Deputy Press Secretary to the President Abul Kalam Azad.
Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu, chiefs of army, navy and air-force, Inspector General of Police, Dean of the Diplomatic Corp were among others who saw off the President at the airport.
President Abdul Hamid is scheduled to address the WIEF conference on the opening day.
He is expected to return to Bangladesh from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is also now in the UAE on a three-day official visit. She is scheduled to return on Monday.
