An order issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday confirmed their appointment at entry-level posts of different cadres.

The appointments have been made at the recommendation of the Public Service Commission (PSC).

Confirmation of services of the job-seekers remained suspended due to delay in submission of medical and intelligence reports on them and complexity over addresses.

Of the new appointees, 140 have been absorbed in health cadre, four each in administration and general education, three in police, two in taxation, two in fisheries, one in public works and one in livestock cadres.

They have been asked to report to the relevant ministries by Nov 2.

The PSC had recommended appointment of 8,529 candidates who had passed the 33rd BCS exams.
