Each of these medical colleges will start with classes of 50 students on that day, Mohammed Nasim told reporters in Tangail on Sunday.

He said the decision was taken in keeping with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's promise to make sure more doctors were available to serve the people.

One of these medical collages will be in Tangail.

There are 22 government and 53 private medical colleges in the country now.
