RAB-9 commander Wing Commander Riad Hasan Rabbani said they resumed their operation on Friday morning and found the bunkers on a hill deep inside the forest.

"We've recovered a total of 9,454 rounds of machinegun bullets, 80 magazines, five walkie-talkies and a radio," he told bdnews24.com.

He said they would brief the media later.

On Thursday, three machineguns, four machinegun barrels, eight magazines and a high-powered radio were unearthed from there.

On Jun 3, a huge weapons cache stored in bunkers dug deep in hillocks inside the forest, were found barely three kilometres from the border with India's Tripura state.
RAB raided the area again on Sept 2 and reported recovery of small weapons and ammunition in a container buried underground.
On Sept 17, RAB searched the area for a third time. They reportedly found 15 sacks of ammunition and explosives, including 112 rockets and 48 rocket chargers, buried in a bunker.
It is believed Indian separatist All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) used the place as one of their dens.
