Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya on Thursday told bdnews24.com that their investigation found foolproof evidence on Mofizur Rahman’s involvement in the question paper leak in 2012.

“He has been sacked based on the evidences,” the ACC official said.

Police arrested Rahman on Oct 21, 2012 for his suspected connection to the leak. A case was also filed against him.
An official of the national anti-graft agency said the ACC on Dec 30 same year also filed a departmental case against Rahman for misconduct and fraud.
The accused submitted his written statement to the agency on Jan 20, 2013. After finding it unacceptable, the Commission decided to itself probe the case.
The decision to dismiss him was taken after substantial amount of proof against him was gathered, the official said.
