Bangladesh will celebrate Eid-ul-Azha on Monday.
In separate messages issued on Sunday, they both urged all to follow the teachings and ideals of the Eid to build a discrimination-free society maintaining communal harmony.
President Hamid in his message hoped the Eid would bring peace, progress and welfare to all and strengthen further the unity, solidarity and brotherhood of the Muslims.
He said, "Eid-ul-Azha's spirit of sacrifice is a unique example of showing respect and love to almighty Allah."
