President leaves for hajj Wednesday
President Abdul Hamid is leaving Dhaka for Saudi Arabia in the early hours of Wednesday to perform holy hajj.

A regular Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight carrying him will leave from the Shahjalal International Airport at 2am.
Ihsanul Karim, Press Secretary to the president, told bdnews24.com that the president would perform hajj at the invitation of the Saudi King.
He said the president had sought the countrymen’s blessings before leaving for the pilgrimage.
Hamid is scheduled to return home on October 10.
