Man drown in Chapainawabganj after chased by BSF

Border Guards of Bangladesh (BGB) have found the body of a missing youth who fell into lake near the border in Gomostapur, in Chapainawabganj, after being chased by the BSF.

The body of Bujur Ali, 25, was found floating in a lake in the frontier village of Rokonpur on Tuesday morning. He is the son of Nader Ali.
Naogaon-43 BGB battalion Lt Col Mujib said, "A BGB petrol has found Bujur Ali's body 1.5 km inside Bangladesh territory from pillar number 220 around 11:30 am."
He said, quoting locals, "Bujur Ali went to India to fetch cattle alog with a few others on Sunday night. On his way back home, BSF chased them, he jumped into a lake. He was missing since then."
He said the body had been sent to the Chapainawabganj Sadar Hospital.
