Govt retires Barisal judge over misconduct
The government has retired a Barisal Speedy Trial Tribunal judge on charges of misconduct.

The law and justice ministry in a media statement said on Monday the president approved the Supreme Court's recommendations for punishing the former Khulna district judge.
Earlier in the day, the president signed the 16th Constitutional Amendment empowering Parliament to remove Supreme Court judges on grounds of incompetence or misconduct.
