The Chinese People's Liberation Army will dispatch a contingent to Bangladesh in early May to participate in the joint training, Xinhua reports
The minister’s statement comes amid the government’s ambivalence over taking action against four secretaries and a joint secretary, though the National Liberation War Council has said their freedom fighter certificates are fake and would be scraped.
Speaking at the BBC Shonglap on Saturday, Menon said, “Personally I think they should be sacked."
"The Anti-Corruption Commission has recommended action against them. I hope the public administration ministry will comply.”
The government is yet to take any action against the officers, although the National Liberation War Council’s decision was meted out on Sunday last week.
