Lawyer Mustafizur Rahman Sujon filed the case against a resident of Sweden, Shibbir Ahmed, under the clause 57 of the ICT Act on Thursday.

Judge of Dhaka Cyber Crime Tribunal AKM Shamsul Alam on Sunday heard the testimony, but kept the verdict pending.

According to case details, in a report published in online newspaper ‘Nordic Barta’ on Sept 8, the prime minister was termed as ‘mentally unstable’, ‘stubborn’ and the judges were accused of 'destroying the judiciary by following the prime minister’s every word'.

Sujon sued Shibbir under the ICT Act for making such offensive remarks.
