Bangladeshi worker dies in Malaysia construction accident

A Bangladeshi worker has been killed and two others injured in a construction accident in George Town, Malaysia.

Malaysian English-language daily The Star reported on its website on Saturday that the man, who was in his thirties, was killed and two others injured when some 200 bricks fell on them from a crane at a construction site.
The incident happened around 1:40pm at a construction site at the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway, the report said.
The report quoting a witness said about eight workers were working at the site when the bricks fell on them.
According to the witness one Bangladeshi man died on the spot. Of the other two, also Bangladeshis, one sustained head injuries and the other leg injuries.
They were admitted to a hospital, the report said.
