Shibbir Ahmed, a resident of Sweden, has been made defendant.

According to case details, Ahmed termed the prime minister "stubborn" and "mentally unstable" in an article on Sept 8 in ‘Nordic Barta’.

He claimed Bangladesh's judges were "destroying the judiciary" by following Hasina's "every word".
