After a press conference on Tuesday at the Rail Bhaban, he averted questions from reporters on this issue.

"I'm not talking. But what you heard is true, I'm not going to stay a bachelor forever," he said.

Asked when journalists would be invited, the minister said, "The matter is personal. I'll answer your questions some other time, not now."

"I shouldn't talk too much. It took a lot of effort to get her consent. What if she refuses now?" he said in a lighter vein.

Mazibul also refused to talk about the list of invitees.

On Sept 2, the 67-year-old minister revealed that he was finally going to tie the knot.

He has known the bride-to-be for three years and the marriage will take place in the first week of December.
